This new group meets at Manor Park Sports Club on the 2nd Friday of the month at 10am.

At the opening meeting leader Alan Gray will be talking on 'Battlefield Surveillance' and members will be able to suggest items for future meetings.

All U3A members will be welcome, and prospective members may visit for a 'taster session'.

   Programme:
December 9th
     'Pegasus Bridge - The Soldiers' Battle' ..... Alan Gray
     At mid-day we shall put out tables and enjoy a 'Christmas finger buffet and
     get-together'.  Please bring things like quiches, pork pie etc. plus wine, beer
     and/or soft drinks, also cutlery and paper plates.

January 13th

      The story behind the legendary journey that made Mao's China.

February 10th
      'Beyond Arms Reach' ..... Alan Gray
      The development of large projectile weapons from pre-history to today.
