Our aim is to foster an interest in English Literature.  Members are asked to read the book we are studying, and to join in when we have a good read.  I.e. bringing along and talking about a book they have enjoyed.  We also have a poetry session.

We study one book a term, which may cover 3 sessions, but otherwise each one is self-contained.

We meet fortnightly on Thursdays from 9th September at the Victoria Park Bowls Club from 10.0 to 12.0 am with no meetings in August or over Christmas or Easter.  We now have 26 members who attend regularly, and would welcome new members.
